I tried a can of Les Dauphins red, when Waitrose were selling off some excess stock. Am coming around to the concept of cans. Although by volume not such good value, we are all trying to drink less! At the other end of size, they also sell them in 1.5 litre wine boxes. For some reason I still think of wine boxes as a bit naff, but when packaged as a (charming Aussie term) Bagnum they look really cool.

It took me ages to trust cans and the new breed of bag in box, to be fair - and you're right to be nervous as it all used to be rubbish! Thankfully, technology has got much better over the past few years so producers are trusting them with better wines. I love the Dauphins box. It's always really fresh and it looks amazing too. It's one I actually show off rather than hide, ha ha.
