Andy Cato spent most of a decade filling dancefloors as one half of Groove Armada with Tom Findlay. He gave us “At the River”, “I See You Baby” and the Grammy-nominated “Superstylin’”, as well as nine albums (six of them hitting the UK top 50) and the Lovebox Festival.
Then in 2008, he moved his family to France and by 2013 had sold the rights to his own songs to buy a farm in Gascony, France, swapping basslines for microbiomes. He went on to co-found Wildfarmed, a pioneering regenerative farming and food company on a mission to scale the transition to regenerative agriculture and make better food, from better farms, available to more people. Andy now farms in Oxfordshire and you might even have spotted him on Clarkson’s Farm recently.
So how does someone go from headlining festivals to obsessing over crop rotation and making a difference to our planet? Have a listen…
